Criteria for publishing a country
ZEUS publishes country pages only when all five conditions hold. Until then the country is listed here as "researching" rather than given thin pages.
- Search demand: people in the country are actively searching for solar prices, sizing and comparisons in a language ZEUS can serve.
- Distinct local information: tariffs, fuel prices, import duties, grid rules and typical system designs differ enough from other covered countries that a shared page would mislead.
- Authoritative sources: a regulator publishing tariff orders, a national statistics or energy body, and at least three separate price observation points.
- Meaningful market differences: the solar resource, grid reliability and buyer profile justify separate sizing guidance (South Africa's grid-tied, load-shedding market is not Nigeria's off-grid, generator-replacement market).
- Ability to be genuinely useful: ZEUS can produce dated price tables, a city yield table from the Global Solar Atlas and calculators with local defaults, at the same standard as the Nigeria pages.
Solar yield data for any country is available now through the same Global Solar Atlas method documented on the resource page; a country's resource table is the first page ZEUS builds when research starts.
